Are You Using Your Laptop Correctly | Lehigh Valley Technology | IT Company
Although they are called laptops, they should not be used on your lap. The bottom generates a lot of heat when in use. Not only could that heat damage you, but it could also cause heat build up in the bottom of the machine. If the laptop is on your lap, that heat has no where to go. This could result in shortening the life and damaging the electronic, or even causing a fire hazard. At Lehigh Valley Technology, we advise you to use something like a cooling pad or lap tray to lower the risk of a hazard.
Using Your Laptop
“I am often asked what are the best qualities to have in #itservices and #cybersecurity. Simple! A never-ending desire to learn, patience, the willingness and honesty to admit what you don’t know, and the desire to help others no matter what side of the table they are sitting at.”Scott Gingold, President and CVO of Lehigh Valley Technology Company
